Tinsky / Rollar Pipe Clubs International 1988 Ring Grain Sandblast Pipe of the Year

Back in 1988, Pipe Clubs International (PCI), asked Mark Tinsky and Curt Rollar to make a Pipe of the Year for their membership Tinsky and Rollar were the co-owners of the American Pipe Smoking Company at the time and both combined to create this large and handsome paneled sandblasted piece which was numbered the 25th pipe made in that special series. The bowl interior is solid and very clean and the shiny black stem has two very small tooth impressions on top at the lip area. Again, both are very small but need disclosure. The blast on this piece, as you can see in the photos, was exceptional.

Pipe Size & Weight:

  • Length: 6-inches
  • Bowl Height: 2-inches
  • Rim width:  1-1/2 inches
  • Chamber width: .85 inches
  • Weight: 58.0 grams
  • Stem Material: Acrylic

Please Note: All previously owned and smoked pipes in Pipestud’s Consignment Shop have had the tobacco chambers reamed (if needed), and the exteriors polished. No internal cleaning has been done as I leave that very personal part of the ready to smoke process up to each buyer. I never sell estate pipes with undisclosed issues. If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, all you need to do is return the pipe to me in the same condition that you received it in (you cannot have smoked the pipe), and you will receive an immediate refund including any shipping fees you incurred.
