JSEC James Gilliam “Fliptail Egg” Sandblasted Pipe
James Gilliam, maker of JSEC handcrafted pipes, is a native Texan who now makes his home in Arlington, Virginia. He served our country in the US Navy, and and decided to start making his own pipes after returning home from his tour of duty to repair some of his own “sea worn” pipes. We are sure glad he did as JSEC pipes are certainly hot sellers at pipe shows around the country each year and I am pleased to offer this handsome, as James calls it, “Fliptail Egg” with well defined sandblast and Cumberland stem. It displays superior internal engineering, too, and the stem is wafer thin, yet sturdy. And, as you may have noticed, in keeping with his tour in the Navy, all JSEC handmade pipes have a nautical theme as part of the nomenclature and the accompanying pipe sleeve.
