G.L. Pease Original Cumberland W/ The 20-year old Kentucky 2oz tin – Year 2004
$65.00
This Pease favorite original had the barrel aged 20-year old Kentucky before having to change the recipe a few years later when that special Kentucky leaf ran out. And these tins are 22-years old, meaning that the 20-year old barrel aged Kentucky is now 42-years old! Per tobaccoreviews.com: “Robust and possessing a subdued sweetness, Cumberland is a delightfully orchestrated suite of American tobaccos, featuring a rare and exquisite mahogany Kentucky, aged in bales for twenty years. Red and matured Virginias establish a theme; the Kentucky and a pianissimo of perique create the variations. Pure, natural tobacco flavors are harmonized by delicate arpeggios and underscored by deep, resonant tones. The coda is lovely and lingering – a perfect finish to a rich performance. Best savored slowly.”
