House of Craven Original Craven Mixture 50g tins – 1970’s era
$150.00
Originally made in the 1860’s and then discontinued for decades until the 1960’s when it was reintroduced by John Sinclair in England. Murray’s in Northern Ireland later took over production, and in fact, was the blender of these tins made in the 1970’s. J.M. Barrie, the author of My Lady Nicotine, was a lover of this blend and his quote about Craven Mixture is even replicated on the tin label. Rich and smoky Cyprian Latakia was combined with ripe Virginia leaf and exotic Orientals for a little spice.”
