Amsterdamer Mixture 50g tin- 1960’s or 1970’s era

Here’s another very interesting rare tin, and this one comes from Amsterdam, Holland. Simply called Amsterdamer Mixture. From the tin’s looks and the fact that it came with a group of other tins that I have listed from the 1960’s – 1970’s eras, I am going to take a guess and say that this handsome tin comes from the same time period. As for the contents, I did find this information on the good old Internet:

• The Tobacco Blend: It is a loose-cut, Dutch-style blend composed of natural, sweet Virginia tobaccos sourced from two continents, balanced by the addition of smoky, fire-cured Dark Fired Kentucky. Some regional European variations or historical reviews also note the subtle inclusion of Burley, Orientals, or a light topping like licorice.
• Smoking Experience: The loose-cut nature makes it exceptionally easy to pack and handle. It is widely characterized by a gentle, natural tobacco sweetness offset by a slight woodsy, smoky note.
