Theodorus Niemeyer Flying Dutchman 2oz tin – 1960’s – 1970’s era

This is the original Holland made Flying  Dutchman in a two ounce tin with the top and bottom of the tin both showing off painted labels. No longer made, and certainly a rare offering – one of the true legendary blends of the pipe smoking world!  The tin is from the late 1960’s or at some point in the 1970’s until they changed the weight on the tins to grams instead of ounces. And despite its age, this tin looks brand brand new. The Flying Dutchman was a compilation of several different tobaccos, a mixture of Burley, Cavendish, Kentucky, Orientals and Virginia.
