Theodorus Niemeyer Flying Dutchman 50g tin – 1970’s – 1980’s era

This is the original Holland made Flying  Dutchman in a 50g ounce tin. No longer made, and certainly a rare offering – one of the true legendary blends of the pipe smoking world!  The tin is from the late 1970’s or at some point in the 1980’s after the weight was changed from ounces to grams.  And despite its age, this tin looks brand brand new. The Flying Dutchman was a compilation of several different tobaccos, a mixture of Burley, Cavendish, Kentucky, Orientals and Virginia. If you want a joyous nostalgic ride, fly on the Dutchman!
