W.O. Larsen Special Blend 100g tin- 1960’s or 1970’s era

W.O. Larsen blended and manufactured its own proprietary pipe tobacco mixtures in-house from its founding in 1864 until 1990, after which production was transferred to external facilities (ultimately under the Scandinavian Tobacco Group and its Orlik subsidiary). Judging from the tin art and comparing it with other known blends of Larsen’s back in the 1960’s through the late 1970’s, I “think” this tin is from the 1960’s or 1970’s. The early Larsen Special Blends varied from year to year and were aromatics of one sort or the other, so here again is a tin in which I cannot identify the contents. It certainly is a handsome 100g tin and in perfect vacuum sealed condition.
