I am not sure how long ago it was, at least seven or eight years, I posted a blog about women pipe smokers. I admit that pipestud.com doesn’t have a lot of regular customers who are women, but we do have at least half a dozen ladies who regularly make purchases on this website. And they all seem to enjoy their purchases and the wonderful taste of the tobacco that they are smoking. A couple of them even admit that they smoke in public as often as they can because it really attracts attention – and I bet it does! Whenever I attend a pipe show I always see women in the smoking tent enjoying their favorite pipes and tobaccos just as much as the men do. And seeing a woman smoking her pipe is a good look as far as I am concerned. My own wife, Beverly, has a pipe collection and a few times a year she will join me on the back patio to smoke one of them with me. I’ve told this story before, but back when we were first dating in 1998, she gave me a pipe, some tobacco and a year’s subscription to Pipes & Tobaccos Magazine as a Christmas present. And let me tell you, that sucked me in. Not long after Christmas, I asked her to marry me, and thankfully, she said yes. We’ve been enjoying the hobby together ever since!
I spent a recent afternoon having fun by poking all over the Internet for photos of women in pipe smoking action! I thought it would make for a fun blog, and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I have. And naturally, I had to include my wife, and that’s Bev in the first photo below.
